FROM DEMIGOD TO PURE EVIL

I was struck by how satisfying it was this morning to see Trump’s name absent from the façade of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In the realm of the massive destruction caused by this one man to our country, this is a small but significant step in the right direction. I hope - yes hope - that performing artists will again begin to accept invitations and the doors will open.

And as the Epstein File investigation continues toward revealing Mr. Trump’s participation in Epstein’s crimes, I am almost hopeful that the true nature of this man will be divulged. I am aware of his immoral actions toward young women when he was in Moscow, and my oldest daughter was the bookkeeper at the Beverly Hills nightclub which hs attended. She knew who paid for what.

While some of his followers will not believe the truth, others may begin to see beyond his worthless promises and recognize the true ruination and devastation of our nation by this man who believes he is a demigod - part mortal and part divine. He has self-produced carticatures of himself as God, as Jesus, and as the Pope.

The opposite of demigod is someone who is non-divine, purely malevolent, and a demon - described as an obsessive force or the spirit of evil. This better describes a man who has deliberately murdered children.

The painful and mortal shriek of thousands of human souls in Africa who are dying or watching their children die due to the closure of USAID, are the raw and agonizing voices that will haunt him on his death bed.

A devastating resurgence of preventable diseases due to treatment interruptions, has resulted in hundreds of thousands of painful deaths including starvation, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and now a spreading Ebola outbreak.

Trump has diverted monies from USAID, to remove the rose garden on the White House lawn and replace it with a patio, to build a ball room costing about one billion dollars, and now he wants to build an ‘Arc de Trump’ in Washington, D.C. that will cost $100 million.

How many lives could have been saved with the funds Trump has used to build shrines to himself?
