HONEY MONEY

The White House continued to spread malicious untruths this past year. The reality is that our country is under siege. Democracy, the backbone of our society, has led us to believe an informed and engaged citizenry, supported by the rule of law combined with active civic participation will preserve and sustain a society ‘of the people, by the people and for the people.’ (Wikipedia) Will it?

Capitalism is a market-driven economic system based on private ownership and profit-driven while democracy is a political system of governance by people who are distinct. They are often conflicting systems, rather than synonyms. (Wikipedia) In fact, under our current leadership – if you could call it that – this “conflict” became more than a clash – it has intensified into a war. Today, the profit-driven motives of capitalists overshadow the fundamental principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights.

Timothy Snyder published a Substack this morning (Saturday, April 4, 2026) that is worth repeating. He said: “We are seven months away from the most consequential midterm election in the history of the United States. Meanwhile we are fighting a war. These are the structural conditions for a coup attempt in which a president tries to nullify elections and take permanent power as a dictator. If we see this, we can stop it, overcome the movement that brought us to this point, and make a turn towards something better.”

As of April 2026, investigations indicate that Donald Trump and his family have accrued substantial financial gains during his presidency, with estimated earnings ranging from $2 billion to $9.7 billion attributed to digital assets, foreign payments, and business transactions, according to the House Committee on Oversight. The administration has been associated with possible “pay-to-play” practices, including donors being appointed to prominent positions and funds directed to properties through fundraising events.

Other investigations have proved – without a shadow of doubt – that Donald Trump was literally purchased and corrupted by Russia. Craig Unger, a NYT bestselling author has spent a lifetime researching and writing about how Trump was seduced by Russians, then bribed with explicit photos and $100 million dollars (www.businessinsider.com), and maneuvered into the U.S. Presidency for one purpose – to destroy the U.S. government from the top-down.

Russian Organized Crime – also known as The Vory (Thieves-in-Law) or the “Super Mafia” – are widespread throughout the U.S. and operate transnationally through racketeering, arson/fires, money laundering, drug distribution, cyber-attacks, gambling, murder, and various forms of government fraud such as Medicare or Insurance. Between Russian organized sports gambling and drug distribution in the United States, they generate approximately $3 billion annually. This Black Cash is then laundered through cash purchases of Trump condos and other properties globally. It cycles back to the Russian government and then pays for the war in Ukraine among other Russian expenses. Yes, Trump receives his fee.

The United Nations report on “Russian Organized Crime in the United States” (written by James O. Finckennauer, PhD, et al) states, “It is estimated that in 1998 approximately 15 of these criminal groups were operating in the United States and they maintain links to Russia. The estimated membership of each group was about 6,000 individuals.” This report is more than 25 years old, and the figures have likely increased significantly.

Multiple investigations, journalistic sources, and former intelligence officials indicate Donald Trump’s business has intersected with Russian organized crime over several decades. The Mueller Report, the January 6^th Report, and the Jack Smith Report all tie Mr. Trump to Russia and to Russian Organized Crime in the U.S.

“Money is honey” means money is highly desirable and valuable, suggesting that it attracts people’s respect and opportunities much like honey attracts bees. Money is a tool, and not a goal. While it enables choices, genuine freedom means controlling your time, living as you choose, and making decisions free from financial worries. But when money becomes an obsession, it is a harmful and toxic fixation. Money disorders are unhealthy financial beliefs and actions that can seriously affect daily social or work life.

Donald Trump filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection six times between 1991 and 2009. It was a time when he was most susceptible and vulnerable to offers of large sums of money. Both his elder sons have bragged about the Trump Organization receiving over $100 million from Russian banks. (www.vanityfair.com). Note – all Russian banks are controlled by the FSB and Vladimir Putin.

Driven by an intense and unhealthy compulsion that money is “everything” – Donald Trump is again in debt. “As of late 2024, Donald Trump’s business entities are estimated to have over $1.8 billion in debt including significant legal judgments.” (Wikipedia) At the same time, his lack of financial management has guided the U.S. to be insolvent. Based on the U.S. Treasury’s consolidated financial statements for fiscal year 2025, several analysts, economists, and commentators have argued that the U.S. government is “technically insolvent” because its liabilities far exceed its assets. “The Treasury Department said, Uncle Sam ended the year with $6.06 trillion in total assets against $47.78 trillion in total liabilities. If the U.S. were a private business, it would be in bankruptcy court.” Based on Forbes’s reporting, “the U.S. government’s financial position deteriorated by $2.07 trillion in fiscal 2025.” (Forbes). At the exact same time, Donald Trump’s personal assets grew by $2 billion."

So, when Trump sold his soul and our democracy to the Russians, he was naïve about the true implications of dealing with the devil. He is going down for a seventh time and is taking you and I - all Americans - with him.

The dark shadow cast by Putin over the landscape of American democracy, and his influence and total control of Trump grows daily. Both these men are consummate liars, BUT their web of lies cannot withstand the growing “light of truth” as seen in the massive protests across the U.S. on March 28th.
