America's Last Free Election?

Distracted by Donald Trump’s sensationalism, his criminal convictions (fraud, 34 felony counts, and sexual assault), his attacks on other countries, and his lies and betrayals - many Americans continue to overlook a fundamental and grave threat playing out in the United States. I am an American who lived and worked in the USSR and Russia, became bicultural, endured hostile conditions, suffered the excruciating pain of my oldest daughter’s death - a homicide, and now warn Americans—and the world—about Donald Trump’s treasonous and hazardous deeds. Vladimir Putin holds the United States responsible for the Soviet Union’s collapse. His retaliation includes a detailed plan, published in 1997 as The Foundations of Geopolitics, to undermine the United States from the top down by placing a manipulable man enticed by money and sex in the presidency, and from the bottom up by infiltrating the country with Russian Organized Crime (ROC) to disrupt American lives - drugs, gambling, arson, murder, threatening phone calls, and more. They operate like Donald Trump’s private “thugs.” Trump was invited to Russia in the 1990’s - and was wined, dined, and trapped by the KGB. In the past eighteen months, Vladimir Putin’s influence over Donald Trump has become increasingly apparent – it is no longer speculation. American citizens are paying up to 40% more for groceries, gas, and utilities while millions are losing medical coverage. The U.S. stopped supporting Ukraine in their struggle against Russian aggression. The war in Iran has primarily benefited China and Russia at a cost to US taxpayers of $2 billion per day; the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro served Putin’s interests; and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Germany, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan weakened American military power. In fact, the U.S. is now running out of certain weapons. Trump nearly halted the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) with South Korea, a move that could have left Los Angeles vulnerable to a North Korean intercontinental missile strike. NATO’s fracture advances a long-standing Putin objective; and, perhaps most consequentially, USAID was shut down. The Lancet and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health have warned that USAID’s closure could cause approximately 22 million preventable deaths in Africa by 2030, most of them children. This action alone would place Donald Trump at the top of history’s most ruthless mass killers, surpassing even Stalin and Hitler in cruelty.
Many Americans fail to see that Mr. Trump is committing treason—or that Russia wants him in the White House because he is weakening our democracy, dismantling our government, and alienating our border neighbors and allies abroad. For decades, Trump has been tied to Russian interests through money and proposed business deals. If you “follow the money trail” it leads through Russia to Trump’s bank accounts. “Capital One closed roughly 300 bank accounts linked to Donald Trump’s businesses. Seriously consider becoming a Poll Observer, a volunteer certified by your party to watch all the goings on on Election Day and report your findings. As a poll worker in AZ, it is vital we follow procedures and the law. We go through training sessions, and are provided with an operations manual to follow. During last month's primary, I had to deal with an Inspector (person in charge of the voting center) who not only resented ANYONE making suggestions, they willfully ignored training procedures, took shortcuts, and broke a number of laws. Did I insist on the other poll workers filling out the evaluation sheets this person had buried at the bottom of the supply case? Did I follow up with a three-page single-spaced typed list of law and procedure violations to the Elections Board? In the immortal words of Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men": YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT I DID!
My suspicion is that MAGAs have been told to sabotage the election process so they can scream Election Fraud, and were testing to see if anyone would rat them out. I doubt I will personally hear from the Board, but I do know of at least two other workers who reported this.
Even as a voter and not an Official Observer, you can report irregularities you see on Election Day to your county recorder, the state Secretary to State in charge of elections, or even your state Attorney General. You are NOT allowed to take photos, but you can take notes on time, place, the person, and your observations. Look for things like taking down voting booths before the polls close, minimal or no handicap voting machines or booths, election workers chatting politics with voters inside the voting center, and snide racial remarks. We all need to make sure that not only do we vote, but that our elections are run properly.
