A Bitcoin Scam?
In September 1999, explosions struck apartment blocks in Buynaksk, Moscow, and Volgodonsk, killing over 300 Russians and injuring more than 1,000. The attacks, along with the war in Dagestan, led to the Second Chechen War. Vladimir Putin was the Prime Minister, and his management of the “crisis” increased his popularity and soon propelled him to the presidency.
Explosions occurred in Buynaksk on September 4, and in Moscow on September 9 and 13, followed by another bombing in Volgodonsk on September 16. Although Chechen militants were accused of these attacks, both they and Chechen president Aslan Maskhadov denied any involvement. (Wikipedia)
On 22 September, a suspicious device like those used in previous bombings was discovered and defused in an apartment block in Ryazan. The next day, Vladimir Putin commended the residents’ vigilance and ordered air strikes on Grozny, initiating the Second Chechen War. Three FSB agents responsible for placing the devices were arrested, but FSB director Nikolai Patrushev later claimed the incident was an anti-terror exercise and the device contained only sugar, leading to their release.
The bombings were attributed to Chechen terrorists, but their involvement was not established. Some historians and journalists suggest it may have been a false flag operation by Russian security services to gain support for a new Chechen war and enhance Vladimir Putin’s standing before the presidential elections – which he won. That was 2000 - 26 years later he is still in office despite Russian law that requires a presidential election every six years.
Today in the United States, our headline news is that Savanah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother was kidnapped on January 31, 2026. There have been conflicting stories: (1) the front door alarm was disconnected, but a recent video shows a masked man using a plant to block the camera’s view, (2) the black dog shown with Nancy Guthrie in early photos, apparently did not protect her or bark – this is strange, (3) a glove was found two miles from her home - not close proximity, but the FBI believes it has relative DNA, (keep in mind, the FBI works for Mr. Trump) (4) the “ransom note” demanded $6 million dollars in Bitcoins – very unusual for a kidnapper, and (5) the FBI has been there for 3 weeks with no clues what-so-ever. If a kidnapper attempted to cash a bitcoin transaction worth $6 Million, his identity would be revealed.
Nancy Guthrie was targetted - no doubt about it. Savanah Guthrie, a recognized and talented reporter had often critized Mr. Trump and especially his relationship to Jeffry Epstein. Trump’s vengence toward those who criticize him goes far and wide - this is a fact. His middle of the night dreamed up scams occur often. Only a week ago he sent out on Truth Social a cartoon of the Obamas appearing as if they were apes. While he told the public a “he didn’t see part of video with the racist clip”, (BBC), Karoline Leavitt, his Press Secretary said “that anything on Truth Social comes diectly from President Trump.” His persistent dishonesty undermines his integrity so that many Americans no longer believe what he says.
During his second term, President Trump strongly supported cryptocurrency, promising to turn the U.S. into the “crypto capital” of the world by backing legislative efforts, establishing a bitcoin reserve, and pursuing projects such as World Liberty Financial – he owns this company. Although these moves initially pushed market prices to new heights in 2025, the industry has experienced notable and unpredictable declines since then. Trump promised a crypto revolution, but now the bitcoin industry is crashing? A six-million-dollar bitcoin transaction could certainly boast his promise of a bitcoin revolution.
Today, Trump has spoken to Savanah Guthrie and promised his support. His feeble attempt to sound sympathetic was recorded. He told the public that if anything happens to Nancy Guthrie, the kidnapper will receive the death penalty. With Trump’s approval ratings at a historic low, this presidential assistance seems sincere and may even improve his ratings. However, it also appears to lack authenticity - it is out of character.
Trump has been convicted in a Court of law of committing fraud, of 34 felony counts in his attempt to coverup his relationship with a prostitute, and of sexually attacking a woman in a store’s dressing room that resulted in his label of a “sexual predator.” He is a con man, and Courts have proved through solid evidence that he has enacted several illegal schemes to try and protect his reputation and get even with others who he mistakenly labels as his enemy.
Could the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping be another of Trump’s psycotic schemes? He would get his revenge at the same time he might collect $6 million in cryptocurrency to save his bitcoin business. And if this is true, he is working with the Russian Organized Crime in the U.S. whose fingerprints and identity are not found in any U.S. database.

Looks like Trump is using another ploy he learned from Putin's playbook: act like a strong man who is helping to solve somebody's problem when we all know he doesn't care about anything but what benefits him. Anything to be the center of attention.
